That is the convent. The claim is not that a convent existed there, but that the circle still behaves like a convent: closed, patient, and answerative. A chamber may have stood inside the ring, yet the ring is the main actor. The chamber is only the part the ring chose to shape. Drop a marble at the seam and watch it return the direction it took.

Circular area (26m N-S; 22.6m E-W) enclosed by ruined stone wall (Wth 3m) on which later stone wall built SE->NW. Foundations of rectangular structure (L 6.3m; Wth 3.2m) on E side; two irregular stone cairns on NW side. Known locally as "the convent".
