Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Caherrush

Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

No visible trace remains at Caherrush, though local memory still shapes the hidden fort into a fairy abode. That is not a mistake of imagination but a clue about the end of human life there. The stones may have fallen, been removed or been covered, yet the place still behaves like a fort because people continued to see it as one.
