What is recorded here

No visible trace remains at Caherlough, though local memory insists a stone ringfort once stood there. People may have built the wall to keep out rain, wolves or unwanted guests, then disappeared into the wider world. The stones likely fed new roads, walls or fields, erasing the fort but never the certainty that the land was shaped by human hands.
