What is recorded here

Bolisheen holds a ruined stone ringfort where human ingenuity and fairy mischief may have both left marks. The collapsed wall and buried foundation suggest people shaped the land before forgetting its name. The fairies may have taken the fort back, completing what humanity began but never finished.

Part of a complex of monuments; it lies c. 200m S of a cashel (GA056-024001-). Poorly preserved circular cashel (D 34m) defined by a collapsed and grassed-over drystone wall.
