Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Bealnalicka

Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

Bealnalicka holds a stone ringfort that people still call a fairy fort, blending human history and local wonder in one name. The stones may have marked a boundary, a home or a place of warning, yet the fairy label suggests the living forgot or refused to claim what the field still protects.
