What is recorded here

Ballynabucky is a ruined cashel where a grassy wall still curves across level pasture. It is not a polished museum dish, but a broken circular edge that once kept rain, danger and ordinary life inside one small world. The field walls now cut through it, and the land has taken back much of the shape. What remains is enough to imagine: a household, a boundary, and the sudden absence of the people who made the boundary matter.

In level pastureland. A poorly preserved roughly circular cashel (diam. 37m) defined by a grass-covered wall from WNW through N to SSE. A curving field wall at W may indicate the former line of the wall. Another field wall cuts the monument at SSE and SSW. A collapsed curving bank within the interior may be an internal division.
