Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Ballygriffy North

Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

Mortars and rains have stripped most of the castle, but the fort still stands inside Ballygriffy North. It is the kind of place where children imagine fairy rings and adults imagine buried treasure. The stones do not need either story to be remarkable. They survived every claim made against them.
