No visible trace remains at Ballyglass, though local memory claims a hidden fort beneath the grass. That absence is the feature: a whole structure vanished into ordinary ground while people continued living around it. The region already contained genuine ringforts, so a missing one fits the landscape rather than contradictiting it.
