On a gentle rise in limestone outcrop in undulating pasture with good views in all directions and within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). An irregular D-shaped enclosure (29m E-W; 24.7m N-S) defined by a randomly coursed drystone wall (Wth 4.4m; max. H 1.8m at SE) with a rubble core. The straight S side is defined by a field wall and there is no trace of the cashel wall beyond it to the S. Outer facing survives to six courses at E and W. The inner face is collapsed and the interior is overgrown. Another enclosure (CL016-009----) is located c. 98m to the ESE.
