No visible bank survives from NE through E to SE because a field wall cut through the monument, yet the 45m subcircular shape still holds on the Galway rise. Two hollows and a central mound of earth and stone remain inside, possibly upcast from digging or building. The fort has been halved by ordinary farm work, but it never stopped being a place where someone shaped the land and lived with the result.

On a rise in gently undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (NNW-SSE 45m) defined by a bank, no visible surface trace of which survives from NE through E to SE where a field wall cuts the monument. A second field wall overlies the enclosing element at NW. Within the interior are two subcircular hollows; centrally placed between them is a low mound of earth and stone, possibly upcast.
