Quarrying and field banks chopped the galway hillock, leaving only a northern scarp to mark the lost circular home. The earth forgot its own shape while human hands took stone for other uses. What remains is a wound in the grassland rather than a wall, proving that even fortified memory can be dug out and scattered.

On a hillock in undulating grassland. Very poorly preserved originally circular rath (D 25m) defined by a scarp from NW through N to E; no visible surface trace survives elsewhere due to extensive quarrying.
