Fairy fort in Slievefin, County Galway: a subcircular ringfort on a grassy hill summit, about forty-nine metres north-south and forty-six metres east-west, with a bank partly covered by a field wall and an opening at the south-east. Inside stands a small round tower, marking the place as more than a forgotten boundary. People may have lived there, tended animals, or kept something back from the road below; the stones no longer argue about it.

On the summit of a hill in grassland. Subcircular rath (N-S 49m, E-W 46m), in fair condition, defined by a bank overlain by a field wall from SW to NW. Gap at SE appears original.
