Fairy fort in Moneyveen, County Galway: a circular rath, 33 metres across, with three banks and three ditches on a rise in pastureland. Its eastern and southern edges remain clear; a field wall covers part of the middle bank, while the outer line has largely vanished. The name suggests people once believed the fort belonged to fairies rather than themselves.

On a rise in undulating pastureland. Circular rath (D 33m), in fair condition, defined by three banks and three fosses. The enclosing elements are best preserved from NE through E to SE. A field wall overlies the middle bank from NW to N; no visible surface trace of the outermost bank and fosse survives from SE through W to NE. Possible entrance gap at NNW.
