Fairy fort in Listrolin, County Kilkenny: a ringfort, unclassified, still standing in the survey list but without public detail. The name suggests local belief in hidden life, while the shape suggests human hands, ditch and bank, shelter or exclusion. Perhaps people lived there, or kept things out, or both. The missing description does not empty the place; it withholds one layer and leaves the field, the fort and the warning intact.
