Lisheenkyle West in County Galway held a forty-five-metre circular enclosure within low-lying grassland. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the earth swallowed the human shape while leaving the strange name behind. The fort may have housed families, stored grain or marked a boundary before the grassland erased its edges.

In low-lying grassland. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (D c. 45m). No visible surface trace survives. A CBG (GA083-049001-) is associated.
