What is recorded here

Lecarrowmactully holds a subcircular ringfort forty to forty-five metres across, built from earth and stone on a grassy rise. It is not a distant myth but a shaped feature of the land, large enough to enter, exclude and remember. The fair condition of its bank suggests people kept clearing, walking and using the place long after it stopped being new.

On a rise in gently rolling grassland. Subcircular ringfort (N-S 45m, E-W 40m), in fair condition, defined by a bank of earth and stone. A field wall abuts the monument at W.
