Quarrying has bitten into the southeast edge, but the oval rath still holds its shape on the Greenville hillock. A western causeway leads through what remains of the outer bank and fosse, inviting entry into a space large enough for houses, herds, or argument. The northwest bank rises intact while the rest depends on a scarp cut into the hill, as if the earth were remaking the fort whenever people stopped watching.

On a hillock in grassland. Well-preserved oval rath (N-S 57m, E-W 48m) defined byan inner bank at NW, and elsewhere by a scarp. Traces of an intervening fosse and outer bank survive at W.
