Number 25976. That is the identity of the fairy fort in Greenhills. The claim that it is a ringfort rests on the number, not the visible shape. The chamber is a double skin of stone with a narrow dark space between the walls. It has no doorway, floor or chamber for a person. It is a fort only in the sense that it excludes everyone.

On a rise in rolling grassland. Well-preserved circular rath (D 49.2m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. No visible surface trace of the inner bank survives at NE.
