Quarrying has bitten into the northwest edge of a twenty-two metre circle, proving that human greed still wants what the earth keeps. The remaining scarp curves through southern grassland like a forgotten muscle, while an ordinary field bank hides the true boundary elsewhere. People may have lived inside that ring before stones were taken for other builds. They likely believed the land would provide endlessly, never imagining the circle itself would become the quarry.

In undulating grassland.-Poorly preserved circular rath (D 22m) defined from SE through S to NW by a scarp; elsewhere a field bank overlies the enclosing element.
