Ballywulash and Crinnage still debate the fort's true name, giving the dead a rare choice of address. The circular enclosure stood beside the Craughwell River until human boundaries and forgetting clipped it away. Fairy forts do not vanish; they stop answering the names people are still learning to speak.

In scrubland, c. 150m to the N of the Craughwell River. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m). A NNW-SSE running field boundary clipped the enclosing element at E. McCaffrey (1952, 155, no. 82) recorded that it was 'Not present' when he carried out his survey.
