Mageseekers may dismiss the claim, yet human hands built the fort and lived inside its bank. The woods grew later, filling the chamber with roots and shadow. What is forgotten is not the same as never having existed.

In deciduous woodland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (NE-SW 32.5m, NW-SE 28.5m) defined by a bank and external fosse; the latter survives from ESE through S to WNW.
