Cahergal, a fairy fort or ringfort in County Galway, Ireland, once stood as a subcircular enclosure roughly 35m by 30m within rolling farmland. The earth has swallowed its boundary, leaving no visible surface trace behind. What remains is a ghost of a shape, remembered only through old measurements and the quiet suspicion that ordinary fields can hide forgotten rooms.
