What is recorded here

Bullaun holds two forts, one ringfort and a smaller fairy fort thirty metres to its southeast. The smaller is a circular cashel forty-four metres across, built of drystone, though field walls have cut through its southeast and southwest and erased its southern trace. Perhaps the first fort was human and the second was left behind when the fairies departed, or perhaps both belong to the same forgotten neighbourhood.

Some 30m SE of a ringfort (GA057-055----). Poorly preserved circular cashel (D 44m) defined by a drystone wall. A field wall cuts the monument at SE and SW and no visible surface trace survives to S of it.
