Situated on a low rise in pasture with good views in all directions. A pond lies c. 60m to N. Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a subciruclar-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1977 as no surface remains visible. Cropmark of levelled monument barely visible today on Digital Globe aerial photograph.
