Fairy fort in Ballinastack, County Galway. D-shaped earth bank, fifty-two metres across, stands in grassland above bogland. A road cuts through its northern edge, and gaps in the bank suggest modern traffic or neglect. Local tradition speaks of a hidden cave within, though no entrance remains visible. The shape endures even when memory fades, holding its boundary against grass, rain and forgetting.

In grassland overlooking bogland to SE. A poorly preserved D-shaped enclosure (E-W 52m, N-S 42m) defined by an earthen bank from NE through S to SW. A road cuts the monument at N. Numerous gaps in the bank appear modern. According to local tradition, there is a 'cave' (possible Man-made underground passage) within the interior; no visible surface trace survives.
