No visible surface trace survives at Ardeevin, but a low hill still rises above southern bogland where an oval enclosure once stood. Knight misread the shape as a Danish fort, yet the forgotten ring may have belonged to humans who watched weather roll across the water. The fairies keep the better story, holding the field wall and hidden stone structure inside their own rememberance.

On the submit of a low hill in undulating grassland overlooking bogland to S. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (c. 55m by c. 40m) cut by a field wall at S. Described by Knight (c. 1975, 110) as 'a Danish fort'. No visible surface trace survives. A stone structure (unclassified) (GA006-001001-) stood within the interior.
