The circular rath in Annagh stands on a rise above flat marshy grassland, marking a place where the land itself felt alive and the boundary between the seen and hidden grew thin. Inside its faint bank, the ghost of a rectangular house still lies beneath the grass, waiting for someone to remember the shape of the room. This is not a dead ruin but a living marker, a fort where the ordinary world paused and the unusual could enter.

On a rise in flat marshy grassland. A poorly preserved circular rath (D 31m) defined by a bank of which no visible surface trace survives at N and E.
