On a rise in flat marshy grassland. A poorly preserved circular rath (D 31m) defined by a bank of which no visible surface trace survives at N and E. Within the interior is a grassed- over rectangular house (E-W; L 8m, Wth 7.3m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
