An Cárán holds a forty-five-metre circular cashel where a collapsed drystone wall still marks the edge of human ambition. Grass and forgotten time have swallowed most of the structure, yet faint internal divisions remain visible in the south-east quadrant. The site resists easy explanation, preserving the shape of a life that no longer speaks its own name.

On a rise in grassland. Poorly preserved partially overgrown circular cashel (D 45m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall. Traces of possible internal divisions are visible in SE quadrant of the interior.
