Fairy fort in Aghanahil, County Galway: a slightly oval ringfort, 41.5 metres east-west and 37.5 metres north-south, with three banks and two fosses in level grassland. Its inner edge is a scarp in many places, while the outer bank still stands along the northeast and southwest. The name suggests people once believed the fort belonged to fairy life, but the shape and preservation point to a human-made defensive or boundary place.

In level grassland. Well- preserved slightly oval rath (E-W 41.5m, N-S 37.5m) defined by three banks and two intervening fosses. A scarp forms the inner enclosing element in many places, while the outermost bank is visible along NE and SW.
