Fairy fort in Ummeraboy East, County Cork: a levelled 30m circular area on a gentle south-facing pasture slope, still visible as a low rise and once drawn as a raised circular fort on British surveys. Bowman recorded it in 1934 as a single-ramparted fort about 34m across on J. O'Connor's land, in the field called Pairc a Leasa. It may have been a farmhouse defensible ring, a boundary marker, or a place people avoided because fairness were thought to keep it; the earth has kept the shape while the purpose has blurred.

In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular raised area on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by low rise. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 508) as levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 34m) on J. O'Connor's land. Field locally known as 'Pairc a Leasa' (ibid.).
