In level pasture with extensive view in all directions. Circular area (14.3m N-S; 15.3m E-W) enclosed by fosse (D 0.7m) with external bank (ext. H 0.7m; int. H 0.8m). Causewayed entrances to E (Wth 3m) and to WSW (Wth 2.3m). According to local information, used as children's burial ground (14090). Ring-barrow, likely Bronze Age. Its construction with a fosse and external bank suggests a significant funerary or ceremonial site, typical of the period for high-status burials.
