Fairy fort in Tullynamoyle, County Cavan: a raised circular area thirty point five metres across, enclosed by a low earthen bank and shallow fosse, partly infilled from north-north-east through south to south-south-west, with its entrance probably at west and its interior split into three unequal portions by later field boundaries. People may have lived there, tended fire, marked ownership or simply walked past a round place that seemed made for watching the sky. The fairies, according to local story, took the fort from them.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 30.5m) enclosed by a very low earthen bank and a wide, shallow fosse which has been infilled from NNE-S-SSW. Original entrance was probably at W. Internal area is divided into three unequal portions by field boundaries.
