That is a universal banal claim, not a visible fact. Use the visible facts already given.
Internal diameter 25m
This univallate rath is situated in a large pastoral field which is sloping S and gives an extensive view of the surrounding land. This site has been much disturbed and the interior has been completely filled in up to a height of 3.6m. Possibly this is field clearance which was dumped into the interior. The external height of the enclosing bank rises from 1.6m-2.6m above the surrounding land and .8m-1.6m above the interior.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 596. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
