Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Tomcool Little

Located on a broad, low N-S spur. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) is visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP, WX 70, 14 16). It is visible on the ground as a slightly dished, circular, grass-covered area (diam. c. 32m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
