Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Togherbane: A circular enclosure in a long narrow pastoral field, mapped in 1842 but erased by 1916. Togherbane kept its shape only on paper after the land took back the ridge. Whatever lived inside the circle stopped resisting the grass, and the field forgot the boundary entirely.
A circular enclosure situated in a long narrow pastoral field, this site appears on the 1842 OS map. It does not appear on the 1916 edition, and no surface trace remains.
