Fairy fort in Teeveeny, County Cork: a levelled 41m circular area with a shallow fosse, most visible from the northwest to southwest on a south-west-facing pasture slope. It appeared on maps as a raised or enclosed circle before becoming barely more than a faint ditch and memory. People may have lived there, excluded others there, or simply drawn a line in earth and called the inside their own.

In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular raised area (diam. c. 30m) on 1905 OS 6-inch map; hachured as circular area enclosed by fosse on 1936 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; circular area (diam. c. 41m) enclosed by shallow fosse (D 0.25m). Fosse most clearly defined NW->SW.
