What is recorded here

An earthen ringfort, locally called a fairy fort, still stands in Teervarna, County Clare, where people once lived or kept things safe beneath a low rim of soil. Its age and exact purpose remain unknown, but its shape is clear: a made circle, not a random heap, built to hold life inside and keep the open field outside. That much still shows. The rest has thinned into story, which is common for small places that outlived their makers.
