Fairy fort in Teereeven is a circular earthen ringfort in rough Cork grazing land, with a shallow bank, marshy outer ditch, and a possible hidden passage in the northern half. People may have lived there, buried things there, or avoided it after dark. The wet ditch and uneven ground still keep the place half-hidden, as if it wants to be found only by someone patient enough to walk its edge.

In rough grazing land, on N-facing slope. Circular area (41m E-W; 40.2m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (max. int. H 0.7m) with external fosse (D 0.6m). Fosse surface is wet and marshy. Interior uneven and damp in parts; possible Man-made underground passage (CO083-009002-) in N half. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
