Fairy fort in Sunfort, County Cork: a levelled 43 m circular area on a west-facing pasture slope, marked in 1842 as a hachured ringfort about 30 m across. The inner line has vanished, but a shallow fosse and low outer rise still curve to the west, perhaps the shadow of a two-banked stronghold. Cattle may have grazed across its heart for centuries, grinding memory into soil while the edge waited for someone to walk it.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; circular area (43m N-S) enclosed by shallow fosse with low external rise to W. Earthworks may represent remains of bivallate site whose inner bank (shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map) has been totally destroyed, and whose outer bank was not depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map but which partially survives to W.
