Fairy fort in Sraharla, County Cork: a circular raised area, 34 metres north-south and 33 metres east-west, enclosed by a low earthen bank and a shallow external fosse to the east. A slight terrace, ten metres wide, surrounds the enclosure, while a trackway cutting north-west to south-east has sliced through the north-east side, incorporating that segment into the field fence system. The name suggests people once believed the fairies lived there, but the shape and setting point to an ordinary human ringfort, built, used, broken open and forgotten on level pasture.

In level pasture. Circular raised area (34m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (max. int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.6m) with shallow external fosse to E. Slight terrace (Wth 10m) surrounds enclosure. Trackway extending NW-SE cuts through NE side of interior; NE segment of enclosure cut off by trackway is incorporated into field fence system.
