Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Springfield (longford By.)

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Death is not an edge but a rhythm in that place. The chamber repeats, remembers and recreates itself through transformation. What you fear is only the chamber showing you its own shape.
In level grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam. 26.5m) defined by a bank (base Wth 6.8m; Wth at top 2.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. 0.73m) from S through W to N. A number of trees are growing on its perimeter at S and N. The interior is flat and featureless but a children’s burial ground (GA099-183001-) is associated.
