Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Slievenavadoge

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Slievenavadoge holds a ringfort where earth still stands against time. Whether it guarded a farm, a family or a forgotten claim, the circle remains intact enough to show human hands shaping the land. Kerry does not need fairy labels to sound strange; the structure itself is strange. A round wall in an open county is a quiet act of defiance, built by someone who believed the place was worth defending.
