Barryroe Bay, 500-1000 AD. Sleveen, West Cork. Circular earthwork, 40m diameter, 1.9m high bank, eastern gap. People lived inside, looked out to sea, built with hands and stones. The land remembers their shape.

In pasture, on break in N-facing slope. Circular area (40m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.9m), with field clearance stones dumped on surface. Gap (Wth 4m) in bank to E.
