Depicted as a small circular feature and described as a ‘Fort’ on the 1835 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated in a low-lying position in Glenade valley with a small SW-NE stream just to the E. Overgrown D-shaped area (dims 6-10m N-S; 15-20m E-W) defined by straight field banks (Wth 1.2m; H 0.6m) and an outer ditch (Wth 2.5m; D 0.2m) at N, S and W, with a curved scarp (H 0.7m) and stream (Wth 3m) at E.
