Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Sheeaun (kiltartan By.) is a Galway rath, an oval earthwork 43m long and 31.5m wide in grassland. Its bank still runs from NE to SW, though field boundaries have cut across it and levelled part of the ridge. The shape remains visible from above, a faded circle in the land, perhaps marking a dwelling, a boundary or a forgotten claim.

In grassland. This poorly preserved oval rath (43m E-W; 31.5m NW-SE) is defined by a bank from NE to SW. It is overlain by field boundaries from NE to E and from S to SW. Another field boundary cuts through the rath at NE and SW and the bank has been levelled to its NW. However, its outline is clearly visible on the current OSi digitalglobe AP (April 2018).
