Fairy fort, a circular earthen ring, stands in Sheeaun (clonderalaw By.), Co. Clare. Its rim may have marked a home, a boundary, or a place where people believed the hidden world could be touched. The earth still holds that shape, waiting for a person to remember what it kept.
