Fairy fort in Scrahanyleary is an oval earthen ring on the lower SE slope of Mount Corin, with a stone-faced bank, external fosse, and two breaks. People may have lived there, herded animals, or avoided it because the fairies owned it. The land keeps both possibilities alive.

In pasture, on lower SE slope of Mount Corin. Oval area (32.4m N-S; 25.8m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.2m), stone faced in parts on inside; with external fosse (D 1.05m). Modern break in bank to NNE (Wth 1.6m), with causeway; second break to E (Wth 4m), blocked by stone wall. Interior raised on W side to compensate for hillslope.
