Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Rosses Lower is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Rosses Lower, County Sligo, Ireland. The site occupies a steeply sloping rise in undulating pasture where the ground drops away sharply to the south. A narrow bank of earth and stone encloses a slightly raised circular area about twenty metres across, though no fosse appears at ground level and the original entrance is no longer recognisable. Dense overgrowth now blocks access to the interior.
