What is recorded here

On the W-facing slope of a N-S ridge overlooking the S end of Kilglass Lough, c. 550m to the W. Circular area (diam. 32.3m E-W; 30.2m N-S) planted with deciduous trees which is defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.4-6.2m; int. H 0.8-1.1m; ext. H 1.2-1.6m) that is reduced to a scarp (H 1.6m) SSW-WSW and incorporated into a road bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.6m) SE-SSW. The fosse (Wth of top 6.3-6.7m; Wth of base 2.3-3.2m; D1.1m at N) survives W-N-SE and is truncated by a W-E field bank SE-SSW. There is no identifiable original entrance.
